Oh! Hibbidy Skibbidy! We have been waiting for awhile to announce this treasure. The United States Institute of Peace contracted Forum One to create a subsite dedicated to their enormous building project. Forum One partnered with Squared Eye for designing this important site. As usual we had an absolutely fantastic time working with Forum One and look forward to the next time! Check out USIP.org/building
This is the largest redesign project Squared Eye has yet to tackle, and what a success! We are really excited about our work here. The design brings a major refresh and some solid usability to a site that really needed it. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
Squared Eye was the design force behind Why We Whisper in coordination with the marketing folks at Pixel Profit, with whom we hope to continue working more often. Squared Eye pulled out some serious typography guns on this one, dotting our i’s and cross our t’s.
New Life Glenside contracted Squared Eye to give them a fresh design and a content management system they could easily use and continue to update their site with. We built their new site on Expression Engine and revitalized their site to a vibrant one that expresses the life of their community more aptly!

The Vine is a division of Church of the Savior in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The website will feature a pastors blog, a video and photo section integrated with youtube, and Flickr, as well as their own podcast for sermons.
All is going well, and as planned, the Vine will be ready to launch this fall.
Judy Bruce has a counseling practice that focuses on counseling to those who are ready to change. Its always a pleasure to work with a great photo that’s not stock photography. This was one of those rare chances.
This is the personal journal of Laurel Smith, whose journey on the Pacific Crest Trail needed some documentation. Laurel and I worked together to produce a striking design that simply let the type and the colorful photos stand on their own.
liberti commissioned Squared Eye to design a flyer for their Roxborough campus picnic. Adhering to their black and white brand, and type is always challenging, but as usual we really enjoyed working with the liberti folks on this one.
This banner was designed for the World Harvest Mission Urbana Conference booth. It measured 20 feet wide and 15 feet tall. We feel as though we’ve been a part of designing a whale. It was a great pleasure to work on such a large scale project.
Block Rocker is a Textpattern template full with several powerful plugins designed to make it extensible. This would be a great fit for a regular blogger or a base for a small business or even a designer. The template utilizes the most standardized capabilities of XHTML, and CSS.

As is the case in designing for clients, there are occasionally designs that are finished but never get to see the light of day. This is one such example. The Missions group decided they wanted something more conservative, but in the meantime I was quite happy with this identity.
More work for World Harvest Mission, this time with mentoring from my colleague Les Swift who has worked in print design for over 30 years. A particular favorite aspect of this design for me is the font Mono Alphabet produced by Manfreid Klein.
As a part of World Harvest Mission’s Urbana 2006 campaign. We designed this series as a set of 13 coasters, each representing a different country that WHM operates in.
Synergema needed a small church design to use for a content management system they were introducing to churches with lower budgets. Synergema needed a home and internal page designs that would be flexible enough to be changed and amended should the church choose to do so down the road.
The personal blog for my wife Amy, minismith has been setup to help Amy keep keen track of where our family has been over the last 3 years as we’ve added family members. Using Textpattern has helped Amy keep an archived journal unparalleled to anything she could have accomplished on paper.
